Streaming is great and all, maybe. Either way, I’ve been getting into collecting my favorite media things in their physical versions. Graywhale has the best selection in the valley, especially when you consider that many are preowned. I’m super happy it exists and hope it does for much much longer!

I had an issue with a record that I purchased here (I frequent this establishment) and brought it back in. I was helped beyond my wildest dreams and will 100% continue to give them my business. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. 7/5 stars (if possible.)

A great place even if you're just window shopping. Sometimes as a date night me and my partner will browse the store with no particular item in mind and still leave with something we wanted. Also good for time travel. Offerings include new and used collectibles, vinyl records, Blu rays, DVDs, CDs, and books. As well as used cassette tapes and VHS. They have a 99¢ book shelf. I grabbed a novel just because it was that price and sounded ridiculous. Gray whale was a major part of my formative years as a teenager and young adult. My killer whale bonuses are still active even after 12+ years of having it with no hidden requirements or being pestered with ads. I never can remember the exact amounts for bonuses but I get set dollar discounts off of items and a percentage increase on trade ins.

This place is great - one of those places where you walk in looking for one thing and then spend over an hour while leaving with several things in your arms. Super friendly staff, huge selection/variety, great random finds, and the prices are good considering how out of hand record costs have gotten. If you're trying to find your store, this just might be it.

This place is huge! Only flaw I can find it that the new trade ins were not categorized so it takes quite some time to dig through it. Fantastic when you have enough time because there were some gems. Pricing is reasonable.

The inventory is vast, staff is engaging and knowledgeable, and the prices are more than fair. I was sad to see the Sandy location close a couple years ago but happy to still have a local Graywhale to support.
